Press Release Regarding the Temporary Postponement of the Opening of the Spring Education and Training Period of the Higher Education Council Until a Second Announcement

HIGHER EDUCATION COUNCIL PRESS RELEASE
Due to the earthquake that occurred on February 6, 2023, centered in Kahramanmaraş and directly affecting 10 of our provinces;
• The inability of our students from this region who are studying in higher education institutions in other provinces to participate in education and training,
• The fact that some of these students' relatives have been directly affected by the disaster,
• The participation of our academic and administrative staff, especially our students, in search, rescue, and aid activities in our higher education institutions,
considering all these, the opening of the spring education and training period in all our higher education institutions has been temporarily postponed until further notice.
